Dr. Eckhouse understands that your care is supported through different individuals, providers, and specialists. In providing the best possible care, she provides care coordination throughout your treatment to guide the delivery of safe, appropriate, and effective care.

The initial evaluation involves a comprehensive assessment of your needs. During the evaluation, Dr. Eckhouse will review your goals, assess your symptoms, offer some initial impressions of what the work might include, and work collaboratively with you to develop a treatment plan. The evaluation will also be an opportunity for you to get a sense of Dr. Eckhouse’s style and approach and to assess your comfort with her and with treatment.
Dr. Eckhouse is an out-of-network provider and does not work directly with any insurance companies. Psychotherapy services may qualify for reimbursement under many insurance plans, and it is encouraged that you contact your insurance company prior to your first appointment to determine your out-of-network mental health coverage. Dr. Eckhouse will provide you with a monthly statement (superbill) of services that you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
The initial evaluation is a 60-minute session and will involve an evaluation of your needs and a review of treatment options. Subsequent psychotherapy sessions are typically 45 minutes, and most often occur on a weekly basis. However, all treatment plans are individualized to the client and length/frequency of sessions will be determined following the initial evaluation.
No. At this time, Dr. Eckhouse is offering psychotherapy exclusively through telehealth.
You can contact Dr. Eckhouse either via email or phone to schedule an initial session. You may request a complimentary phone consultation prior to your initial session to answer any questions you may have. Once your initial session is complete, you can also schedule follow-up appointments in the client portal.
If you need to cancel a session, please notify Dr. Eckhouse via email, phone, or secure message in the client portal. Please notify Dr. Eckhouse of such cancellation at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. Appointments that are not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will be charged the full fee.
Dr. Eckhouse only treats adults (individuals who are at least 18 years old).
