DR. CHELSEA ECKHOUSE

ABOUT
Dr. Chelsea Eckhouse is a psychotherapist, consultant, educator, and researcher. She received her doctorate from The George Washington University and has acquired a range of experiences within university, community mental health, private, and hospital settings. Dr. Eckhouse has presented at several conferences focused on mental health and transitory life experiences, and has published works focused on cultural norms, experiences in immigration, and the interaction of medical and mental health diagnoses.
Dr. Eckhouse works with clients to understand and prioritize their values and goals, and assists in strengthening self-esteem and self-awareness. She is integrative in her therapeutic approach, blending techniques and interventions to meet each client’s needs. Grounded in evidence-based practices, she incorporates her extensive training to support each client’s unique needs. Dr. Eckhouse aims to create a caring and supportive environment that helps clients live a full and valued life while coping with difficult thoughts or feelings. She brings a balanced approach to therapy, accepting individuals where they are while facilitating growth, acceptance, and change.
